Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Journal of Microbiological Sciences  (JMS)
The Journal of Microbiological Sciences (JMS) is a research publication that publishes original work in the fields of General Microbiology, Plant Microbiology and Microbiology  Human Microbiology, Plant Pathology, Soil Sciences Microbiology, Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnological Microbiology, as well as Applied Microbiology Practices. All papers are offered for scrutinizing by two referees of international and national standing in secret. Articles are accepted for publication on the condition that these are contributed solely to the Journal of Journal of Microbiological Sciences (JMS). While submitting manuscripts, please carefully follow the instructions given below:

Submission:
Always submitted original (Not submit in another journal at the same time) copies of the manuscript, photographs, illustrations, diagrams in Black & White. through email. All articles must be typed 1½ space single sided A4 paper typed script in English language using MS word 2003-2013 window.

Formatting requirements:
The original/review article should not exceed six printed pages at maximum text length. The typed and drawn of tables, as well as illustrations, should be on a separate page. The full text should be justified. This design for the abstract and the list of references. Single space all punctuation marks, including full stops, are used only. Insert a space between a unit of measurement and a numeral, e.g. 3 mm, no space between in dashes and associated numerals, e.g. 5.0-6.0mm, or between extreme measurement and ranges, e.g. (10-30) or 25-35. Use italics where necessary.

The manuscript should contain the following sections:

Title page:
It must attach the full title of the manuscript, the names of each author, affiliation, and address for correspondence with telephone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail, if any.

Abstract:
A structured abstract of up to 250-300 words must accompany all original articles. The objective of the study, design setting, main outcome measures, results, analytical methods, specific data and their statistical significance, new and important aspects of the study of observation, and a simple summary of conclusions should be stated.

Introduction:
The motivation for the study and the purpose of the article should be summarized. A review of a subject should not be very detailed and should not include conclusions or data from the study.

Materials and Methods:
The exact method or observation or experiment should include. An apparatus is used, The given in small brackets should be for the manufacturer’s name. The reference must give for method if established but enough information is given to the new method so that can be useful for another author to perform it. If the usage of clinical nature and a drug in an article, it must give the route of administration and generic name dose. It must give the patient, age, mean age, sex, and standard deviations. The statistical method and any computer program used must be mentioned.  Any new sentence must never start with a number. For example,
“3 plants were cultured” should be written as: “Three plants were cultured.”

Results and Discussion: 
The form of text, tables, and illustrations must be present here. All repeated in the text should not be the contents of the tables. Instead, it may be mentioned as a reference to the table number. It should use SI units. In discussion should confirm the variations or similarities with other work done in the field by other workers and the present findings. The detailed data of the discussion should not be repeated again. The manuscript includes all the Technical matter and the latest citation must accompany with appropriate bibliography.

Acknowledgement:
If desired, it should b aftere includedthe discussion and before references.

Conflicts of Interest:

References:
Author and date are the key components in the in-text citation of the APA referencing style.

  1. One author: Crothers (2016) found that...or (Crothers, 2016).
  2. Two authors: Walker and Allen (2004)…or (Walker & Allen, 2004).
  3. Three or more authors: cite only the surname of the first author, et al. and the year: Kosslyn et al. (1996) found that...or (Kosslyn et al., 1996)
  4. With an Anonymous author (Anonymous, 2016).

Follow APA style for citing and formatting reference entries. The relevant references should be accompanied in all manuscript following alphabetical order as they are cited in the text should arrange the references. The following information should provide for the reference: Author’s name with initials year of publication in small brackets, the full title of article, the name of journal, journal’s volume, number in small brackets, first and the last page number, and doi if available. such as:

Short Communications:
A short communication paper will publish for shorts reports of new results of special interest. The text merits publication in this form must ask the authors to append a note explanation. The pages 2-3 should not exceed for publicizing usually, comprising one table, and if necessary one figure. The reserves the right decides for the editor what formation a short communication.

Mini-reviews:
The products and processes, biological methods, or reactors and an apparatus utilized in the processing of biological are welcome. A short historical outline of the development extensively reviews the current state should provide and an outline of trends with concluding and the possibility for the future. They should provide the competitiveness of the biological process and biological products, as parallel to the process of a chemical or to processes, which depend on the product isolation from natural sources. They should provide applications and cost figures. A structural formula or a photograph of the biological products, an outline of the biosynthesis pathway, a scheme of the apparatus, reactor or plant or the process of a flow scheme should contain in mini review. They do not exceed five pages to print of mini-review in length. Before submitting a mini review must ask authors to contact the Editor.

Procedure:
The receipts for publication for all the articles are acknowledged, but the publication is not accepted. They will sent a manuscript to two reviewers. On reception of their comments, and if approved, an acceptance letter will be issued to the author of the submission.

Proofs:
The page proofs will be sent to the corresponding authors and copy-edited manuscript. The publications will avoid delay; immediately, proofs for typographical errors should be checked, and within 48 hours, they should be returned. At the proof stage are not acceptable significant changes. Indeed, if such necessary changes are made, then we will make a small charge. A copy of the article can be downloaded from the journal website or provided in PDF format on demand.
